Default Financing an F4i

I'm looking to get an F4i and I made some bad decisions when I was in college regarding my credit. Now that I'm older, I've taken control of my finances and am on my way to rebuilding my credit. It's still not great, but I was wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and if anyone knows of a place to get financing for a used bike for someone who has less than stellar credit. Thanks!

StevieD23, if you have a lower credit score, you will probably not be able to get financing through most dealerships. Insurance companies now check your credit score to sell you insurance, so you will probably pay higher rates than most people if you have bad credit. my recommendation is thatyou should save your money and get it when you have the cash in pocket.

I would talk to the bank you use regularly, they might approve you for a loan. Mine did for me and I had no credit at the time.

The annoying part is that they *may* want a co-signer for financing : /

I have a feeling that if you can get a co-signer with a good credit score you can get financed. They may want you to put something down on it, I suggest not taking a loan for anymore than half the value of the bike.
