Default Finally...

...Got a pair of A* SMX-4 boots. Been riding with laced boots/sneakers for way too long and love the added protection and the fact that I don't have to worry about laces getting snagged in my clutch pedal. The fit is great, but I'm still getting used to them, being that I don't quite feel the shifts with the added thickness of the boot.

Have any of you guys adjusted the clutch pedal to allow additional room for a thicker boot? Right now it seems like a somewhat tight squeeze when I first put my toes under the pedal to shift up. Should I bother adjusting the clutch pedal? I figure that I'll feel more comfortable the more miles I put on, but wanted to know what you guys have done. Thanks.

Great boots but I had to return mine....my bony ankles rubbed the protective disc on one of the boots. I need to get something better than the black Magnum boots I'm wearing....zero ankle protection..steel toe but that is about it.

Goose-
I wear the new joe rocket sonic boots. Not as much of a race boot as the smx -4.But fits great and have good protection.

I had to adjust my clutch pedal up slightly to get a good feel. After awhile of riding in boots ,it will feel weird if you ever ride with another shoe again.

i noticed the same thing when i started wearing boots as opposed to shoes it seems as if it takes less to shift but then again i usually ride in DC shoes then switched to steel toes

Speaking of boots, what would be a good pair that would double as work shoes (not meaning the construction yard, but a business casual office)?

I guess I could change them when I got there but that means more stuff to haul.

I dont think any will really fit the casual office look.
I just keep my shoes at work and change them when i get there.

NIce boots just $$$$..I figure for the daily commute that my sonics are good enough(warm/water proof/but not bad during the heat):
