I just purchased my first street bike. Been offroading for years and decided to take a break. Any ways the bike is a 2001 Honda CBR F4i. Previous owner dropped the bike but no major damage, just a couple scuffs. Well the Red FI light is perm. on in the cluster when the bike is running. The bike runs great with no sputters or pops or misses.

What is the cause of the FI light being on?

How do I get it to turn off?

I also noticed now that I am at home that when I start the bike up the FI light flashes.

2 long followed closely by 3 short.

then another sequence of 2 short.

then the pattern repeats.
