Its a 2001 F4i. I had the tank and all the other covers off to paint. I also took the air box off to put in new plugs.
I put the air box back on and the tank also. I wanted make sure it was all working before i go on. It runs GOOD no problems just the FI light is on.


I turn the key on and the bike goes thru its lil sweep. I hit the red switch to ON, i hear the pump prime and the FI light is still off, when the pump stops primeing the FI light goes on and stays on.


From what ive see the FI light should be on when the pump is primeing and then go off. Looks like mine is backwards. Did i reinstall something backwards?


I took the tank off and airbox, to make sure it was like it should. I cant find anything wrong, all the vaccume line are on all the plugs are good.


Bike runs fine no problems just the frekn light. HELP ME OUT PEEPS.!!!

 

you should read the trouble code. jump the small black plug located in the tail at the left and count how much fi light blinks when turning on the power.
