Well if you rtead my other post, my bike wouldnt fire after coming back from the dealer. Well it looks like they flooded it so I replaced the plugs and the bike fired right up. Now I am gettin 2 flashes of the FI light then off, then two flashes then off, and so ojn and so on. Does anyone know wut this could be? I made sure all the wires are connected and such as well as all the hoses.

Please help me out.

 

According to my service manual two blinks that are appox. 0.5 seconds long indicate a loose or poor connection of the MAP sensor vacuum hose or a faulty MAP sensor. That's from an '05 service manual though. Hope it helps.

 

Just looked. Service manual is good for '01-'05.

 

just checked her out and the hose came off the map sensor, reconnected it and all good. thanks guys

So, dumb question... I have the same error on mine. I've had my bike for almost a year but have never gotten this 'intimate' with it. How do you go about accessing the MAP and the vacuum hose in question? Also, every now and then, my MIL light stays lit until I shut off the bike and restart it a couple times. The book says the cause could be bad ECM or jacked up connectors. Anyone have these same issues?
