FI code for 02 sensor HEEEEEELPPP!!!!!!!
ok I have a major dilema here. I have a 2001 CBR F4i that I purchased about a month ago. It has 2 codes that it is showing. Code 2 which is the MAP sensor.
And the second code that is really confusing me is Code 23 which is the 02 sensor code. As far as I can tell my bike is NOT a Cali Model. I do NOT see an 02 sensor on the mid pipe. What should I do?

yeah you're definitely running rich for sure with that type of fuel economey. one thing i've noticed in the past 2 years is that the error code #2 is rarely a problem with the map senor. 90% of the time, the people who are getting this error have a faulty fuel pressure regulator, or one that's about to go. I've heard countless posts of MAP2 codes where the FPR was actually the cause of the problem. Mine is about to go on my bike right now, and I get the #2 code quite often. I still get about 130 miles per tank, but better safe than sorry. The fuel pressure regulator is probably the 2nd biggest complaint with the F4i, as a lot of them crap out after a few years.
So yeah, I'd check the FPR first and make sure she's not starting to go. Even if she isn't, and if she's fine, I'd replace it anyway. It's only a matter of time lol...

If your getting that bad of mileage you've either got a bad FPR or open intake valves. I would guess the FPR as with open valves it would be hard to start and would idle till warm. You dont necessarily have to have gas in the oil, it's just normal if you do. Pull the vac line off the fpr and see if there is any gas whatsoever. Also does it have a PC3 or yoshi EMS? Im not sure what distinguishing marks like VIN or anything that distinguishes a cali and a non other than the o2, but there are o2 blockoffs and what not. That tells me that you should check and make sure its not a cali model that has the o2 plug fitted with one of those modules. Also another thought, I would suspect the Cali model to have a different ECM as it acts differently to what it senses from the O2. Maybe your ECM was replaced with a cali model and its looking for a O2 sensor. That would cause the system to always run in a hindered mode. Check your ECM part number and post back.
