I have a question about the forks. Are the R1 forks the same length as stock? will the entire new front end measure the same length as stock?

I've considered that mod myself but always end up thinking that it might throw off the geometry or balance of the bike. I suppose as long as their the same length there shouldn't be any problem.

I'm a huge fan of inverted forks. Thats one thing that bothers me about the F4i. Standard forks just seem so obsolete.

I suppose your swingarm would also come into question but I don't mind the F4i swing arm so I wouldn't consider that.
