Default Fan not working where to look?

My 06 F4i has an overheating issue. Now that's it's getting hot out i'm a little worried when i'm riding in the city. My temp will climb and climb until i get moving. Today when i got home i checked to see if the fan is working, it was a no go. I checked the fuse under the seat as per the manual, but it's fine. Where should i look next? Thanks guys.

Remove plug from thermostatic switch (should be on lefthand side of radiator near the top). Run a jumper wire from that plug to the frame (or other good ground). With key on, fan should run. If it does, you know fan is good and is getting power. Also means problem is with your switch. If fan doesn't run, either fan motor is shot or isn't getting power. Some people hook an over-ride switch up so they can manually turn on fan when temps are getting warm. Just splice into wire going to thermostatic switch and run to a switch. Run other side of switch to a good ground.
