sprockets stay the same, your using the same wheel

also, i tihnk the spacer is more to keep the caliper from flopping around bc the axle is a diff diameter, so i dont think it would matter a whole lot bc the caliper mount is acting as the spacer to, adding some strength

i will have more soon, i posted one in my "what do you think" thread. its not quite done yet. i just wanted to tell you i found a 1krr shock on ebay that eneded, i offered them 15$ shipped and they took it, they just relisted it for me today, im not gonna be doing the swap soon, so i wanted to tell you about it in case you wanted the shock the seller is acuransxtt

I recall someone that had done it in this forum to say that they did not notice any handling difference, good or bad.

I would venture to guess that people do it for the ol' Bling factor.
Looks different and new.

Default 600RR swing arm conversion



I did it and it just might be in my head, but the bike feels alot tighter in the twisties and the ride is not as harsh as I thought with the 1000RR rear shock. I would never change back.

sry to resurect an old thread but can i get pics of how the 100rr shock connects to the crankcase or the bike? do you use the 600rr linkage?
