F4i mirrors
#11
i bought some aftermarket ebay mirrors, and they're not the greatest, without very much adjustability, but they do what i need them to. i can see the next lane over for quick checks, but everytime my bike moves from a straght line i shoulder check anyway. i guess force of habit from driving cars, but i think its even more important on a bike to shoulder check.

This is not aimed at any single poster however as many of the posts have echoed the points raised here I shall address these first:
1) if u dont have the mobility like they said u prolly shouldnt be a ridin..
It isn't a matter of mobility, it's a matter of wasting time at a critical moment adjusting my body position to see the mirrors.
2) if ur to lazy to move to look well then (haha <---- supposed to be funny)
It also isn't a matter of laziness, imagine you are at high speed and the traffic in front of you slows abruptly. You are being followed by a large vehicle which hasn't seen the traffic slowing. The 1 or 2 seconds I have wasted trying to see into my mirrors can mean the difference between me planning/utilising an escape route between lines of traffic and me looking in my mirrors too late to recognise the hazard and being killed.
3) u really should be looking behind you as well as using your mirrors....
I am not looking for riding advice but thanks all the same.
I am only looking for advice on modification/replacement of the mirrors, thanks to those who have offered this.
