It may be far fetched but its definitely a cool idea... The only other options i could think would be to just buff up the internals.. pistons, cams, port & polish. stuff like that. Thats a pricey route tho.

A friend of mine put a 5.9 Cummins Diesel in his old Chevy Z71, hard to call it a sleeper though as it is loud as hell and exhales smoke like Patty & Selma in a bowling alley.

RE: F4I Engine swap
The idea was getting my stock CBR600F4I in a way that would scare all those cool 1000cc's in the road. Just an idea. Some people get kind of offensive when somebody comes up with such ideas however I've seen people doing cool and also crazy things. I know this guy overseas (Panama)that had a Porshe engine in a old beetle, It went like bad news! I heard about people triyng to humiliate him in a red lightand after all, you know the rest.

Hi,
As I can see - noone did mention the fact of calculation:
did you ever wonder why aren't the factories putting the different engine sizes (125, 250, 600, 100...) into the same frame, forks & swing arms, breaks...?
All this stuff are calculated to handle certain amount of power. If you want to switch the engine, then you should also do the same with this parts as well.
So - I second the opinion to put a "600ccm" fairings on a "1000ccm"

Popeye
