Default f4i bogging down

hey, i just bought an 02 f4i about a month ago, and just recently it seems like it's got a little less zip. for example, ill be in 6th on the highway, and kick it into 4th to pass someone, and the bike kinda bogs down then slowly picks back up. The same thing happens in 1st from a stop. Any idea on the problem

Is it just boggy when you goose the throttle? How does it rev in neutral?

I guess the simple stuff would be the best place to start: Air filter in good shape? Fuel filter clogged? How's the idle, smooth? Check for hissing around the engine? Spark plug condition? Spark plug wire resistance ok? Fuel lines aren'tpinched or plugged? Basically, what you're looking for is something that will effect your fuel mixture, your ignition or a vacuum leak. It'll more than likely be subtle, since it only seems to be pronounced when you have a high demand for performance.

Your chain isn't insanely tight is it?
