I went on a 200 mile run on my '06 and it wasn't too bad. We stopped and stretched every once and again. I would absolutely get one...they are awesome!

The F4i is an excellent all-around sport bike. It's much easier to use on a daily basis than the CBR600RR but has a slight disadvantage at the race track as it's race-bred counterpart has a suspension set up for the track and a racier riding position. It will be very different from your V-Strom so it may take a while to get used to. I've used my '03 CBR600F4i at the race track, for daily commute and long distance riding. When I talk about long distance riding I mean 12 hour, 800km rides. Only stopping for a quick bite and refuelling otherwise continuously riding. My bike is bone stock for the moment, next year I will be selling my '99 CBR600F4 and purchasing an '07 CBR1000RR so I will probably dump some serious money into my F4i. It isn't really necessary, a bone-stock F4i is plenty of bike. I've ripped it at 260km/h going up the Coquihalla Highway here in British Columbia and it felt like it had lots of power left in it to go faster. One thing I've always enjoyed about the F4i is the stability the bike has. To be honest with you, it isn't as exciting to ride as a YZF-R6 or GSX-R600 but it is definitely a lot more stable, reliable and user friendly. To me, a bike that is an all-around performer is better than a bike with distinctive strengths and weaknesses. Throw reliability in there and you got yourself a great bike.

Yeah, I agree. There are about three CBR600RRs in my group, two '03s and one '04 and I love the look of them. I don't really like the look for the '07 though, it seems they copied the '06+ CBR1000RR.

IMO...the looks of RR way better...

Dude the '07600rr looks nothing like the 1000rr. It looks like a hodgepodge of several bikes. If they redo the bodywork......it'd be a mean mother. I wonder what its doing in the windtunnels.
