Default F4/I wheel question

Hey guys and gals. I am new to this board, but have been watching/reading for a little while now. Anyway, I am building a streetfighter Hurricane and swapping the front forks with the F4. The problem is that I am running a F3 rear wheel/swingarm and I don't want to have mismatched wheels. I am not worried about having spacers made, but I do not have the measurement for the disc spacing on the F4/I front wheel. I really would like to run the F3 front wheel in the F4/I forks. Can anyone measure the disc spacing with a tape measure from outside to outside? That would be phenominal!! Thanks for the help.

Not sure if I understand your swap. You're putting an F4 front on a Hurricane. Is that a 600F Hurricane? I think there have been 600 and 1000 cc bikes to carry the Hurricane name going back to the late 80's, just wondering what bike you're working with. A 929 or 954 front end swap does well on old model Hondas and is beefier than any F3 or F4 frontends.

I can measure tomorrow as my F4i is in a garage about 4 miles away -if you still need it. And if you need it I'll have an extra F4i front wheel to sellin a few weeks.

I'm doing a swap right now for the first time, as my i front end got bent in a crash. Maybe you could offer some help in my thread linked below:

Ya strike I am putting a F4 front end onto a 600F hurricane. I would really appreciate if you could take the time to measure!!

And I would be really interested in buying your wheel. PM me with a price to 98125!!

As soon as I get back to my bike after being out of town for Thanksgiving tomorrow I'll measure. I should have measurements up by tomorrow night if nobody beats me to it. Folks are lazy in here right now. I'll probably be selling the F4i wheel after my swap is done and I'm good and comfortable with my new parts. Watch ebay though as there is always some good junk on there. I buy stuff almost every week lately.

measured with a tape measure and its 5 5/8 from outside edge to outside edge of break discs. That would be 5.625 I believe.

I'm assuming you did want outside to outside of the discs. Either way my F4i wheel and axle is off the bike and laying on floor if you need anything else measured.
