Default F4 engine into an f4i. Will it work?

Well its that time to buy a new engine for my f4i. There's f4 engines everywhere locally around me so my question is, can i put the throttle bodies and harness off my motor onto the f4 and it run right with the fi?

Well actually it runs like a dream, its just the crank and the flywheel are bent and there's a hole in the upper case.

if your head is good, put your head on the f4 engine and you shouldnt have problems

The heads are different as is the timing. I can tell you this for sure as I had both bikes side by side and worked on them the same time. got 2 f4 motors in the shop and vangill's old f4i motor to go with my f4i. The f4i has a cam pulse sensor needed for the FI that the F4 doesnt have. Cams are different. I dont know if the cranks are different or not. the timing difference may be in the cams and if thats the case then the f4i head would bolt on the f4 and it would work fine. The gearing in the tranny is also slightly different which you can verify by the 2 different service manuals. its only a slight difference though and wouldnt be that noticible.
