Well, I found the key spot behind the license plate, but it was broken. I took off the undertail and inspected underneath to try to get the rear seat off, but I can't figure out where the locking mechanism is. Does anybody have any suggestions for how to get the seat off?

 

this is an assembly diagram of the locking mechanism...maybe you can follow it back from the keyhole...

Hmm... that might be helpful, I figured that I'd found the right cable, but I wasn't sure. For some reason, the last guy just had that cable tied up into some random spot and wasn't using it at all.
