not sure. i know 6 volt batteries get a 7 volt alternator
12 volt batteries need 14v alternator
24 volt batteries need 28v alternator etc
that's how it is on airplanes anyway. i don't do cars or motorcycles very well. [sm=sorry.gif]
if the f4i has a 12 volt battery, i'm guessing 14 volts and, i dunno, 30 amps?

It should be around 14Vdc, that's post-regulator though. By itself the stator puts out an (alternating current) 'ac' voltage (hence the correct name 'alternator' to the entire assembly)(if you're trying to measure directly across its terminals) ... and then the effective voltage depends on what you measure, the peak, avg or rms. Most meters do an approximate RMS measurement.
