my f4i is stretched 10 in over and i still run up the mountain just as fast as before but i recommend a real sticky tire on the front for coming down because it pushes the front around too much and you can still wheelie the f4i 600 with upgraded clutch

Ugh, don't post garbage. A 10-inch stretched 600 will perform nothing like a stock bike, so please don't even compare.

if you know how to ride and how to lower your COG the bike stock will be fine. when you corner you should not even be sitting on the seat all your weigh should be on the inside peg.

Inside OR outside peg depending on what you wanna do with the real wheel. A lowered bike handles like ****, believe me i bought it like that and raised it back up. 100x beter, you get more confidence knowing you got taht extra 1.5" that you didnt have before.

A stretched bike will not handle the way stock does, neither will lowered. You're messing around with the suspension considering the rear shock is hooked up to the swingarm. You might also get more swing arm flex especially using blocks.

You're nuts for wanting to mess up a perfectly good bike...maybe you should be riding a Suzuki instead.

You are just really slow then, and you are still just as slow as before with that huge chunk of a swingarm.

And more importantly, why do they revive such garbage threads?

I'm 6'6", my bike is stock height, no stretched bull****, and I have no problems.

You don't have an excuse, man.

Sorry.

You're talking about changing the center of gravity to fit a taller rider. think about this...

You, being a taller rider, are going to have a higher, more forward, COG. Extending the swingarm will move your COG even more towards the front of the bike.

Just my .02. I'm no expert but the guys at honda are. If you're not going to drag race it don't **** with it.
