Default Exhaust residue

I would rather ask then take a chance of fing up my bike...
how much residue do you guys see on the exhaust opening of your bikes?
I have a 05 F4i with a Yosh slip 4k kms'son and it looks pretty black and thick...
any thoughts? it runs fine with no power issues or lag issues good throttle response.
my dirt bikes did that alot but did not expect it from this one

Same here with a 2 bros. Very black, but I think it's normal all the bikes I see look the same, regardless of make model and pipe. Every now and again I clean mine with aluminum polish. It doesn't shine like a new dime, but looks ok.

I just noticed this on my bike too. Bike was noticeably rich with a PowerCommander though. Guy behind me asked if I was running additive becasue he could "smell" my exhaust. Loaded a new map that is noticeably leaner. Will see if residue is lessened.
