Default Ethanol?

Alright today i started running super+ gas for higher octance, but i live in NY and apparently they passed a law saying that all gas stations have to have 10% ethanol in their pumps. and my concern was that the manual say nothing higher than 5% is this going to cause major troubles with my bike? sorry if a dumb question i just want to make sure. thanks

Checked the Owners Manual for the F4i. You can use gas with up to 10% Ethanol content. Gas with Methanol is limited to 5%

10% ethanol is all they sell around here. Haven't had any problems on any of my vehicles.
Putting high-octane gasoline in your F4i is a waste of money (link). Here in CO, the lowest octane rating is 85, and it's what goes in my bike; no pinging

I just had my 89 CBR600 in at the Honda dealer in PA... the owner of the shop there tells all his customers to put a Stabil type product in their older bikes all year round to prevent buildup from ethanol... but that advice was for carbs, and I don't think you need to worry as much....
