Did not know Honda could do the keys with Vin#'s....This is actually a great suggestion and I will try this method first before I pull the tank off.
I just got her running....well aside from waiting for the new ignition switch and front fairing to come in...I really hate to tear her down again until I least ride her for a few hours. So far I've only gotten 3 hours total of riding time in before the ignition diode went out on me.
Once I get the new fairing and paint them like i want I will post pictures up.
Right now shes all naked with just the tank attached.

I'm having the same problems with my bike it's a 2001 cbr 600 I'm getting no spark and no fuel pump turning on dunno what to do but I've replaced every thing on the bike except the ecu are there a resistor that needs to be replaced

Bought 01 cbr 929 harness OS hacked a
I got this 929 in a trade and I've never heard it run the wiring harness has been hacked so I took a wiring harness part checked it all got it all back together there's no key for the bike I pulled the ignition pulled the Tumblers I got it to where the ignition it turns by turns on no fuel pump still no injector fire I don't know what to do I'm at when Whit's End

where did did you get the zener diode at because I ordered two different ones from two different companies and neither one of them worked but when I connect a 9 volt battery I seem to get Spark but the zener diodes are ordered that says 9 volt diodes does not seem to work and I believe they only go one way you can't flip the dial to round it won't work it only goes One Direction. So I tried both directions you can use the voltmeter. Still do not get 9 volt as it says it would so where did you get yours if it . How much was it?
