has anyone had any experience with this undertail? looks pretty cool but im wondering if it will fit an 05? ad says its for 01-03. also doesnt looks like theres a spot to mount the plats. heres a link. let me know if anyone knows anything about it.

I have an '05 on order from this guy.
First he sent me the 01-03 and I had to return it.
Then he didn't have the '05 and it should ship Tuesday...
It's going on 3 weeks now

He seems genuine, but I'm still a little concerned I'm geting taken?
He did tell me he had a silver '05....

now the guy told me yesterday that he got it in on 9/1 and it would ship Tuesday morning.
I called him today and he says "here is the thing. I have one but it is not painted"
It never shipped and i told him to just send the primed one.
He said it will go out today???????
Stay away from PITECK...
Thay are a scam....
I can almost guarentee it won't ship today

So kevntri, what happened?
I don't want to beat a dead horse, but he sent me the wrong one too. Said he would paint it to match my bike (an 06). Not only did he not, but it doesn't come close to fit, no matter what I modify. The damn undertail is too small. So I sent (as his request) pics of what he sent me VS the rear end of my bike. Sheesh. I hope this isn't going to be a problem.

That sucks that your having such a hard time finding an undertail for you bike rws381. This "PITECK" guy/company sounds kind a fishy but if that's all you can find then it's better than nothing. I like how undertails look so it might be one of my first projects on my completely stock 02 F4i. Best of luck..

I had to paint it myself. The quality is OK. The brake lights could be brighter.
