I was going to buy a hotbodies undertail for about $200 because I am a little nervous about an ebay one and how its going to fit my bike and how the paint is going to match etc but now I am second guessing myself because I have a kid on the way and if I could save $100 that would help me out!... does anyone have any expeirence with one of these?

 

The one I got from motofairingsinc (or something like it) was -terrible-. It almost didn't fit at all and took a ridiculous amount of muscling and modding to make it work. The trunk lock only worked with a great deal of superglue.

I'd recommend paying the extra $100.

 

I made mine and It really wasn't too much of a headache.
