Aftermarket tail light install question
I have just puchased this item. Unfortunately it does not come with any installation instructions. So I have five wires and no clue what they do. I emailed the seller and they don't provide instructions (probably should of asked that question before buying), but now I'm stuck. Has anyone ever installed one of these or similar?? I'm unable to post the full ad but if you go to www.ebay.com and search 200064620384 you can see the whole ad if that helps.

RE: aftermarket tail light install question
I'm not exactly sure how it's going to work, but it's led with two tone lights, so you should probably have 3 leads coming from each side, one negative, one for the amber and one for the red. I would connect the positives for your turn signals from the harness to the amber, the positives from your brake/running light (probably best to do one side each) to the leads for the red LEDs and then the two negatives from the harness for each side to the respective negative LED.

RE: aftermarket tail light install question
Ihave a total of five wires. On the right side three black yellow and red. On the left side two blue and yellow. Its hard to see where they go.

RE: aftermarket tail light install question
i would guess that the two yellow wires are your turn signals, the blue is the running light, and the red is the brake light. From there the black could just be a negative.

RE: aftermarket tail light install question
O.K. So using a 9 volt battery i have determined that black is ground, the blue wire coming out of the right side bulb hole is right turn signaland the yellow wire coming out of the right side bulb hole is the left turn signal. The remaining colours black yellow and red are grouped together in some kind of yellow plastic connector (it doesn't plug into anywhere on the bike). Any ideas.
