EBAY alpine star look alikes finally came in

As I mentioned before, I have a friend who is based at the AStars H/O in Italy and he sent me out a pair of SP3's. Guess where they are made - VIETNAM
Makes you wonder..................
Just bears out what was said about cost of manufacture......
And I'd buy a pair of those "knockoffs" if they made them in XXXL.
If you still have the packaging those gloves came in I would bet they were posted from Vietnam, which would probably make them genuine AStars. Maybe without the logos but what the hell, if you're buying them to be seen in expensive gloves.......................hmmmmmm

and shadow thanks for the statement about slug. I have no problems with everyone having a opinion. But when he came into the thread posting a opinion that was as rude as it was. It seemed to me all he was looking to do was start some drama or a fight. Which I feel is unessesary. Esp. Woth all the already existing drama in here lately. I just didn't want five pages of usless fighting is all.....

I heard that as well, that A* had their race equipment made at one location, while consumer equipment was made wherever.
I picked up a great deal from a local vendor on SP2's and they're made in vietnam. Another person on the 600rr forums has a pair of SP2's made in china, and a pair of SP1's that were made in vietnam.
Now I kind of wish I looked at their one piece race suits at the store to see if it said Italy or something. That'd be interesting.
