Chain guard on ebay and finally pics of my new baby!!
i came across 2 chain guards on ebay that i was seconds away from purchasing until i came across a description in the one listing that said:
Billet Aluminum Chain Guard
Honda CBR 600 F2 & F3All Years 91-98- No Hugger Design
Billet Aluminum with aBrushedFinish
ThisBrushed Chain Guardwill allow you to replace your Stock plastic guard and Huggerwhileaddinga custom lookthat willset you apart from the rest. This item is for use when the stock hugger has been removed. If the hugger is still in use you wil need to get the stock replacement guard not this item. The Stock hugger is the fender that will bolt to the swing arm and will hold the stock chain guard.
The other listing did not mention this at all but i assume its the same principle...
Is the hugger all that important? Do i really need it? Will it pass inspection?

you know i was looking at getting one of those huggers that acts as a chain gaurd...but wasnt sure if id still be able to fit the bigger tire im putting on..so im just going to go with one of those billet chain gaurds...the only advantage besides cosmetics to a hugger that i can think of would be to keep gravel and stuff from damaging an undertail if you have one......but idk..anyone have one of those huggers and know if i could fit a 170 or a f3 rear rim under it?
