Default Dumb question: side fairing bolt

I seem to be missing the side fairing bolts that secure into the frame. I do not have sliders so it’s an OEM bolt location. According to the parts diagram it calls for a 6x19mm. That is way too small as the threads in the frame are M8. What bolt is supposed to go there? The fairing hole does not meet up flush with it, so it’s a large bolt, perhaps with a shoulder or unthreaded portion? Anyone have the dimensions or info for these bolts? Thanks

I think you will find that there is a post that fits the frame and then the shouldered bolt fits onto that. The post is item No: 13 in the link below

https://www.bike-parts-honda.com/hon...F__2900/2/2814

then the shouldered bolt, No: 21 in the link below:

You are very welcome, as you are in the states then Ron Ayers is probably your best bet.

killer I’m on it. Just test fitting some more and is there anything special behind the kickstand? Fairing doesn’t appear to line up with the M6 hole, but sort of does for the larger M8 below, but I assumed that was for a center stand. Perhaps the shifter rod is adjusted wrong?

I'd be interested to know.which mower uses one of those
The ebay link also looked reasonable depending upon postage.
Good luck on the hunt.
