NEW UPDATE!! ok i put it back together with the idle still screwed up and was riding it around and the FI light came on so i stopped and dropped the kickstand and it blinked 8 times. so i am trouble shooting it but i need to know where i can get an ECM Test Harness.

Wouldnt the FI light be your fuel injection?? I know when I turn my key over I hear the fuel pump and when it turns off the light does also. I got another friend that you met the time we went to bike night with a 06' F4i like mine and hes havin the same problem. Also we need to get together and do some riding.


I havent done much lately due to wedding #### going on. You still down for the 19th ride to panama city and back??

 

do you have the manual?

8 blinks of the MIL lamp = Loose or poor contact on TP sensor connector, or open or short circuit in TP sensor wire, or faulty TP sensor.

i think you jiggled it loose when you worked on it.
