I'd personally just pick up a strip of leds, wire to the accessory, and you're good to go. Maybe a fifteen minute job max.

When you say wire to the accessory, what is the accessory? I thought about wiring an LED strip near the plate but im an electrical idiot, so could you explain that a little further. Would it also be hard to attach it where it is a running light and brake light?

I have those LED bolts. Very bright lights up the whole thing and not bulky since theyre just bolts that hold the plate. I def. recommend it.
