Do you ride hard? Or did you always take it easy regardless.
I've never been one for looks, but if I decided to spend a bunch on a custom paint job I think that I would be a more cautious rider.
I'm just wondering if it has alterered your riding style?

screw that. if your riding easy it's cuz the 5.0. is around. other then that ride hard! I don't like to be going slow and taking it easy thats why I also have a car. and I have a custom paint job and bike. but thats just me.
when it doubt throttle it out!

 

yes, i ride hard, however i do take it easier then i would on a normal bike, but if my bike was only a paint job and not a custom no i woudlnt ride it any diffrently,
has it altered my riding style? a bit yes, but thats why I got a new 1000RR =p

 

yes and no, i ride like i would in any case. i love my bike , whether it has a stock or doesn't have a modified paint job.

 

i am getting a new paint job this upcoming fall and i won't ride any different....

hell at this point i got so much money tied up in powdercoating, aluminum bolts, etc...if i went down...i would lose a TON....but i am not going to ride any different as a result...i look at it this way, i am putting money into my bike KNOWING i could mess it up real quick...that being said, i hope i won't....

on a side...when i do get my paint....and i start doing track days...i will get a set of track plastics...i know i don't want to run custom painted plastics on the track...

 

I like the way a custom bike looks, but to me these jap sportbikes are disposable commodities, like a microwave oven. I consider myself worth more than the bike, its safety is not my concern, I do not have a custom paint job, but if I did, it wouldn't change the way I ride. The bike is there to do my bidding, not to make onlookers happy or envious.

I dont have a custom paint job but my paint looks shrowroom contition...I do however, have A LOT of $$$ in Chrome on my bike and a lot of aftermarket stuff....I ride it hard because that is what they are made for and It wouldn't be any fun if I took it easy all the time just because I have a nice looking bike...If I wanted to take it easy, I would get a moped
