Default Difficult part to find

Hello fellow riders,

I am looking for the key and lock for my 06 f4i. I have the naner seat. Right now i have it rigged to be able to open, but i am in need of the lock. I have gotten a Juicebox pro and really dont want anyone getting to it. I am unable to put it in a garage. WOuld anyone have an extra with a key or would it be best to find it at a dealer? or has anyone done anything else to lock theirs?

So are you missing the key and lock for it or just the key? If it is just the key then it should be the same key for your ignition/gas tank. If you are missing both or the lock it broke then I say just order a new one from Honda, should be about $20. It will come with a new key. Now you will have a different key for the ignition and gas tank but I had that on my F4i and it wasn't a big deal at all.

You could make this electronic trunk popper.
It would be cheaper and you wouldn't need a key lock.

The only difference is that you would have to find a new spot for the button, and you can put it anywhere because you need the key in the ignition fo it to work,
