Default different seat cowl styles!!

i am riding a 05 f4i looking for a rear seat cowl, so that banana seat doesnt look so stupid! Earlier on the forum i had seen several different styles but now all i can find is the targa cowl, and i dont really like the look of that one, if someone could send me a pic of some different styles and some web addresses that would help me out a ton!!

guza - i'm in the same boat, so i decided i'd just fiberglass my own from a spare seat I purchased off ebay. Should be finished in a couple weeks so I'll post up photos when finished

There aren't a lot of options available for the seat cowls on the F4i. It's unfortunate, because I think there's a heavy market if someone came up with something good. Targa seems to be the leader, but only bceause there are so few. The Targa cowl for the banana seat F4i is very plain, and their pictures for this item suck. It's too hard to tell what this cowl would actually look like installed. So I'll ask this question:

DOES ANYONE HAVE GOOD PICS OF THE TARGA SEAT COWL FOR THE BANANA SEAT VERSION OF THE F4I?????

Holy crap! There's one! Thanks a million regener8ed.

So what do you think of it? How exactly does it attach to the bike, do you have to unscrew this seat cowl to take the seat off? Also, is there any sort of rubber trim or anything where the cowl touches the paint on the bike? Does the seat cowl scratch or rub on the factory paint.

Thanks again.

I've seen posts prior to this one...maybe it's just me or the names don't jump out at you.

Questions: With this cowl, isn't a pain in the *** to get under the seat? Did you have to drill into the bike?

It does look good.
