Default Decent non-oem fairings?

Someone tipped over my bike while I was in the office late one night, and now I need a new front and tail fairing. I've read all the horror stories about melting, scratching, and fitment issues with HK fairings. But are their any fairings that reach a middle ground between the HK/China crap and the expensive OEM stuff?

I would like the fairings to come painted in red as I don't want to deal with having them painted, and again I only need the front and tail fairings.

This is the color scheme of my bike:

I've been looking at these sites:
http://www.motorcycle-fairing.com
http://www.nicecycle.com/
http://www.2wheelkits.com/
http://www.fairingonline.com/

Anyone have any good/bad experiences with these companies? Are there other companies that I should check out?

Well I have Auctmarts fairings on my f4i. Ive rode on 5 hour trips and Ive not had any issues with melting. Then again I did take the time to line the inside of the fairings with Dynaliner from Dynamat. Id say they have good fairings if u take the time to prep them with thermal protection.

Auctmarts on Ebay that is... and they will sell individual pieces if you message them.

if you email some of these companies... (i know moto777 will) If you just need like a Side faring or top with a color scheme, they will price one out just a single piece alone

That's actually true. I message a few of them over Ebay and seeing I am also in the same boat. I needed just the Red/Black oem front and tail fairing. I ordered mine 1 week ago and I've been told to expect it in just about another week. It's being shipped from Hong Kong. As far as price, expect the front and tail fairing including shipping to be somewhere from $230 - $250. Which really isn't bad. Hopefully the red matches perfectly, I've been told to not expect it to. I'll post feedback and pics whenever my tail and front pieces come in. I ordered the red/black, to maintain OEM.

PS...I did not order from Moto777...it was from another HK seller. Before I recommend the seller, I really want to see what mine looks like. I know the fitment is gonna be excellent. Since it is induction molding But my biggest concern is color mismatch...will let ya know once my fairings arrive!

Why dont you fix the one you have. Two part epoxy cost like 5 bucks, just make sure you get the stuff for ABS. It worked great for my rear bumper (cover), even after another rear end collision (dumb b*tch puttin on make up on the freeway). Now I got two spots that need touched up.

I've heard good things about Delkevic on eBay (search it). They're based in the US and are supposed to have better quality fairings than Auctmarts. Although I have Auctmarts and they're decent... scratch up REAL easily though (especially when you put it down, doh!)
