Default DANMOTO Jisu New Exhaust Installed

Hey Guys,

Ordered and installed a DANMOTO Jisu slip on in black to replace my OEM pipe on 01 f4i.
For the money these are AWESOME!!! Paid $150 even for pipe, db kiiler baffle and free shipping. It sounds and looks light years better (I think you will agree!!!!)

There are some known issues with install like mid pipe rubbing on swingarm and less than stellar clamp, but with some "elbow grease" and patience it will all fit together.

Let me know if you have any questions.

How's your connection to the mid-pipe there? Did you use the Dan Moto clamp (and does it leak, if so) or did you buy / fashion something else?

I'm still trying to decide if I care enough to fix the leak on mine, but short of bending some pipe I'm not quite sure how.

Did you get your exhaust off the swingarm? It'll dig pretty good against it if not, but I can snap some pics of my fix?

Nice! Mine's holding up fine still, the black will fade after about a month or so, it's a light brown now. I could care less though, I'm probably going to cut my old jardine and have it like a r6 shorty pipe. Depending on what I wanna do after everything else is done. You'll love the pipe! It sounds so mean

Yeah I did use the Danmoto clip. Its not quite on just right but everything seems to be holding/sealed... I dont see any leaks visually. How did you check for leak?

And yeah did get it off the swing arm using some stacked stainless washers to push it out a bit from the passenger peg.

Sick sounding pipe. I have the bafffle in it but still pretty loud, "rumbly' down low but still screams nice at high revs! LOVE IT~! Bike looks and sounds so much better!

I just put my hand down there and can feel the exhaust gas come out. I'm not too worried, I was just curious if anyone else had an ingenious solution

Maybe wrap it once or twice with some muffler wrap or whatever they call it, alot of the stunter guys here in town use it on there headers and midpipe.
