lol well i came across a 01 subframe for 40 bucks so i decided to pick it up since it was so cheap. its in good condition no bends or anything. im glad i got this but kind of regret it cuz the damn rear fairing cheapest i can find is like 200 bucks which sucks ***. does anyone know were i can find a decenlty priced one or is that gonna be normal price cuz if so im just goign to buy a race tail.

 

i know i am trying to find tail too sucks. YOu can find them cheaper in forums or classifieds but if it is perfect 200 is alittle high but about right. wont find anything cheaper on ebay. I would say checks the forums thats the best bet and be patient. If you get A race fairing your bike wont be street legal no lights or anything but if it is a track bike go head.

 

or if you want to keep nanner seat i will take the sub frame off you for 50

 

lol o no nanner is goign away im just going to have to suck it up and eventually buy a fairing. hell ill even take a busted one and just fix it.

 

I picked up rear plastic from eBay for $25. It had road rash on it and I had a little of work to do. It is currently out for paint and I will post pics when I get it. It took atleast 4 months of searching eBay to get my hands on one. But persistancy paid off.

 

dam 25 bucs i am hoping to stay under 200 thats a steal i hope i can find something like that that i just have to fix a buddy of mine owns a boddy shop so it doesnt matter to me i just have to pay for supplies and he will do the work. I cant wait to get it painted i am just waiting on that tail fairing. been looking for like 2 months now.

 

When you are on eBay, you have to try every word combo for the tail fairing. I had put in the usual wording, but one day I checked out some dude was selling in his store and bada bing there it was. I was the only bidder. It never popped up when I searched under the usual wording. Here is some links from eBay I found. Best of luck.
