Hey guys, I have a D&D pipe and love it. But, I want a high mount. From what I gather, D&D doesnt make a mid-pipe to mount it up high. So my question is, most slip-ons are 2 1/2" pipe right? So could you use like a Micron or Devil midpipe?

You basically want to do the same thing I did, I ran into the same issue and D&D wouldnt help me either. I bought a D&D Black Satin exhaust and then I bought a high mount Blue Flame Exhaust off of ebay and I used that mid pipe for my D&D so now I have the High Mount D&D Black Satin. I hope this helps.

Dude that is sick, sweet single swing arm! So you bought a whole new hign mount setup and just used the mid pipe? Are your rear footpegs still usable? I checked ebay and there are no blue flame exhausts right now. How much did it cost? Thanks man!

I just bought a blue flame wholehigh mountset-up, muffler and mid pipe. I think I paid around 100 for the blue flame exhaust. I made a custom mounting bracket to mount it and I made 2 spacers to push the rear pegs away from the pipe a little. Both were real easy to make, just took a little time

Thats a sweet setup, very clean. The whole Blue Flame high mount kit only cost $100!!? I'm going to keep my eyes peeled on ebay for a while. Thanks alot for your help! Anything else I should know?

 

everything is pretty straight foward with it. I Just had to make a exhaust bracket which wasnt too bad and I made some spacers for the rear pegs for clearence
