done similar to the DIY but not exactly. the 2bros middle sleeve doesnt come fully out the full exhaust. so u have to cut and cram the end cap on and rerivet..
any chance you have pictures of cutting your exhaust in the process? i have the same V.A.L.E. M-2 exhaust just in aluminum so just want to see what you had to do differently since I've heard its different than the write up. thanks.

I wonder if the internals are the same though...
I just did this to my 2-bros last night. actually A LOT easier than the tutorial. with the 2bros such as this just simply take off the intake end cap and put it in a chop saw. *see pics

I followed the write-ups here and cut 7" off a Ti Akrapovic. Very pleased with the outcome:

Working on this right now on my Scorpion - oval/stainless.
Drilled the rivits.
Used a 4" grinder with a cutting wheel to cut off 7".
Slid the bottom off and cut 7" off the inner pipe.
Trimmed the packing.
Slid it together and the end cap won't go back into the pipe. The pipe did not keep its shape (oval) and it's being a beotch. Up to this point it took all of 15 minutes. Been fighting with getting the cap back in for 20 and I'm ticked. I want to get it back together so I can hear this thing!!

Well since it wouldn't let me log back in my original screen name was rdog357 I cut my scorpion also,

It does get out of shape during the process I had to roll the lip that I was trying to slide the cap into so it flared out a lil, small pair of pliers do the trick just stay about a 1/8 from the end. The strap will cover any marks, then wrestle the cap in and lightly tap the flare to the cap with a hammer. I rolled mine over the radius on the cap just a little bit to keep it from rattling.

I just did my Yosh Pipe and it sounds Excellent.. I took off 7'' too and it cut a bit off the pipe but still is a good short nice clean pipe.. I swear its gotten a bit more responsive as well.. But that could be just the sound making me feel like it is.. It was a complete b$%@ getting the pipe too fit back into the other pipe and you need to make sure you sand the edges perfectly smooth so you dont have any lips.. then slowly work around with a hammer fixing every lil knuckle until it finally fits in.. you have to make sure your inside tube pipe isnt out of perfect round either.. because that was stopping mine from going back together as well..
