Cut Yoshi RS3 into Shorty... Pros and Cons?

better throttle response, some say better torque... The mod makes ur bike pull in just clean air instead of nasty air.. Main reason is if ur bike takes a tumble it keeps oil out of ur air box

yea i guess that added "insurance" is reason enough to do it. Maybe Ill get to it this weekend. What size T fitting is best?

Would there be issues in shortening a Carbon Fiber RS-3?

nope, actually its easier than cutting metal because its a fiber weave. Just tape the edges you want to cut with painter tape and you'll get smooth clean lines.

I just finished turning my carbon Yoshi rs1 into a shorty today and it turned out awesome.

Thanks. Yeah, I just figured maybe the weave would get messed up. Can't wait. It's gonna look good.
