Default Crashed, can't get bike started.

Hello. I crashed my f4i I got it back home put the headlight back on and tried starting it but all I get is this box next to the battery clicks. The fuel pump primes but Instead of the starter starting the bike I just get clicks from that box. Any suggestions?

Hello, thanks for the replys. All the fuses under the seat are good. All the wires I can see are in good shape and connected. I'm stumped.

Just to clarity, the main fuse is inside that little box, its separate from the other smaller fuses. If you did check that one, I'd make sure the starter relay is good. Then follow the ignition system until you find the problem. Im assuming is an electrical problem. How bad was the crash?

Yes te fuse attached to that box is good as well. How do I test the starter relay? Crash wasn't too bad rear ended a car at 20mph.

you need to connect your headlights and the tilt sensor that is mounted on it. i've been hit by a truck on the hwy so hard where the F4i tumbled across 4 lanes, and I was still able to ride home afterwards with the help of some duck tape.

Also.. i wasn't aware that someone made a fairing for fuel tank

That's the picture from just after the accident. I reconnected the headlights and the sensor on it as well.

I think it's in the service manual, section 18.

If your fuses are good, then have you tried jump starting the bike? recheck the battery connection.

to test the starter relay you have to bypass it. Assuming your battery is good, hook the battery up to the starter. If it turns then it's the relay. The hard part is taking off everything to get to the starter. It's easier to buy a $15 relay ebay and swap it in.
