cages are great...
for stunting

frame sliders are all you really need, your F4i doesn't have threads in the swingarm for spools
the bar end sliders aren't necessary at all, plus they usually weigh less than the stock ones so the bars will vibrate more

looking online, the crash kit consists of frame sliders, bar end sliders, and swing arm spools. i was already planning on getting the frame sliders, i was just curious if the bar end sliders and swing arm spools were worth it.
They are worth it...bar end sliders and frame sliders, as for the swing arm spools it cant be done without sending your swingarm off or bydoing it yourselfand getting 8mm spool nuts welded to the bottom of the swingarm, thats what I did. I love it, I dont have to worry about the bike sliding off of the rear stand anymore with the spools on

When you lay a bike down with sliders 1 of 2 things happen, they either get ate to **** or they break the bolt and probally get ate to ****...dont waste your money get some rail sliders from www.Powersstuntworx.comMatt is a super cool guy...youll thank me later I promise....better yet just go there and look at em on a bike and then look at a bike with some cheesy sliders on it...and cages arent just for stuntin there are people here that rip back roads with cages, me being one when I had my 636, never scraped the ground

sorry James, you are quite incorrect about sliders...
they very very rarely snap the bolts, and the ends are replacable delrin pucks that are supposed to grind down (they cost almost nothing to replace the pucks for most sliders)

now there are some very crappy cheapo sliders that may very well do more harm than good (no-cut sliders will do that) but good sliders such as woodcraft, vortex etc are perfect for crash protection
the reason frame sliders aren't used by stunters as much as cages is that they are designed for sliding not really hard hits like cages are, two different solutions for two different problems
same way you won't find cages on track/race bikes because they suck for sliding crashes

well when i first started I used sliders, and they sucked, for instance when you bike is "sliding" and it comes across a hole or bump in the road or whatever its more than likly that its going to snap..if you runnin race rails (not a cage) your bike will slide, and no bump ditch hole flip to the other side, whatever, is gonna do any major harm to your frame or motor.....and also you will see race rails on more and more track bikes because they are being proven to be more protection than sliders and they do do the same thing...... my old boss raced WERA with race rails on his bike (after I told him about em of course) and beieve it or not he praised them....but to each their own we, both have adifferent prospective on this subject

just tell me these wouldnt hold up better than sliders...... oh its a race bike too

I differ that also...lol....my racing 905 cage took a 60 mph screw up on the expressway 2 years ago and smahed into a wall, and a bent front rim and broken footpeg was the outcome...on a 98 900 RR
