couple questions, help asap!!!
Ok, here's the dealio. I got my bike out of storage a few weeks ago, battery DEAD, so I filled it up with water and charged it. It didn't seem to want to hold a charge, but a day or so later I decided to try it and it fired right up w/ out hesitation. Well, that lasted for a few weeks, then last night we went out for ice cream and it sounded very very low. Cranked once or twice but not like it really wanted to start, really slow n drowned out cranks. What could be causing this? And , I didn't notice it before, but I got a car to jump me (yes, the car wasn't running) and it fired right up. However, after starting it, I noticed the battery was "oozing" very little water out the top, what could that be, do I just need a new battery?? And one last one, I have lost my throttle side bar end twice, once last year, and one yesterday, I tighten them all the way down and it seems to be on good (never lost the other side before) and I never thought it needed loc-tite or anything, is it?? Am I maybe having some excess vibes that are vibrating it loose?? Thank you for any and all help!

Take your battery in to get tested, most places will do that for free. The boiling acid is usually caused by a constant slight draw/charge on the battery. I'd suggest you check all of your wirings and electronic bits to make sure you don't have a short somewhere.
As for the bar ends, I think you answered your own question there, loc-tite is exactly what I would do!
