Ok i know this is going to sound very newbish.... but i just happen to be cleaning my bike when i noticed that i didnt have any coolant in my tank. Im not sure when it ran out but could i be looking at any major problems because of this.

The bike runs perfect and stays around 175 around town . It has never overheated or anything.

What type of coolant should i be running.

You probably just dont have any in the overflow....there is most likely still some in the radiator itself.

You can run normal anti freeze if you just ride on the street otherwise distilled water or other track approved coolant....

I know some organizations are not allowing Engine Ice anymore...

 

same thing happened to me.

i used honda HP. it comes pre-mixed.
