Coolant for F4i ??

Default Coolant for F4i ??
I had to fill up the radiator with coolant tonight after finally getting everything put back together. Without thinking, I used generalpre-mixed Antifreeze for a car or truck. Then decided to look in the manual and it says to use Honda Antifreeze or something similar. Does it really matter? Is what I used ok or should i drain it and put in the Honda stuff?? Thanks...

Antifreeze made for bike aint slippery like the car stuff. Makes it a tad safer if ya spring a leak while riding. Wouldn't want that slippery crap getting under your tires now would ya lol

so for now im safe until I can get the stuff made for bikes?? it wont mess up any of the seals or gaskets will it??

it also matters on the silicates - some additives are hard on the pump seals

Have a look and see what the jug says and read the honda manual for what it says...

will it hurt the bike? I don't know - I doubt it - but I use the right stuff... non-honda but has the right specs.

it wont do anythign drastic to it, buy some water wetter for it, much better than regualr stuff and no slippery to it

The coolant should be mixed half and half with distilled water, so it's not too thick , slippery etc.

just use engine ice...best **** out there for a bike...i beat the **** out of mine daily in 100+ degree weather
