alot of head related motorcycle deaths this year in florida so far.Supposedly theres talk about lawmakers reinstating the law

Same story in arizona last i heard.

law or not, its just common sense to protect your brain... well, that is if you have one to protect.

personally, I think this is a matter of judgment. If you choose to ride w/o a helmet that is your choice. Who is anyone to say you can't splatter your brain across 1000ft of pavement. The end result of a motorcycle accident is the rider gets hurt. We all knew that before we got on the bike to begin with. You choose to put yourself in harms way by getting on the bike in the first place. You should be ready for the end result of stupidity regardless of whether it's yourself or a cager that is at fault. Bottom line, you cant regulate everything. There has to be some freedom or we live in communism. I don't want anyone taking away my right to live my life the way i see fit.

Helmet Laws usually come about because the State needs Federal dollars for some highway project and the Fed will give them the money if the State passes whatever law the Fed wants.
