So, next on the list for the f4i is painting her. Im going with a white base with a white pearl in the clear coat. Question is what color to paint the frame and rims? Debaiting gold rims similar to the r6 raven had. But i have nice matalic blue side cover so im thinking maybe blue frame and rims. Im going to be doing my own powder coating and powdering the upper stay and such white so it blends in. rear sets and all matalic blue.


Bascially, My issue is pearl white fairings is what I settled on. Also want to do the stator cover and few other parts matalic blue to stand out. but i dont want to do the frame and rims in white or blue and have a single color stand out.

Anyone have some other ideas that may look better? Im getting the paint job done for the price of the primer, paint mix and the activator. Its a pro paint job. So i have about $75 to spend on powder i may need. i already have the oven and machine to spray the powder

 

id stick with black frame and wheels, id go for a gloss mettalic black powder on wheels and frame with blue rim tape.

 

i've always wanted to do a pearl white paint job, with a blueish white lighting painted on it. and then have everything that can be powder coated done in a glossy, somewhat dark, blue.

 

Coming from someone who has an all white bike, it is getting WAY overdone.

 

yeah agreed, there were like 2 on rally the other day for a local forum, as much as i like the look wouldn`t paint it white now plus its a bitch to keep clean too, im up for a change of colour now after a small off, wont be redoing the white.
