I've got the little flushmounted tear drop shaped smoked LED turn-signals. When they're blinking, you can see them from the side but just barely from the front. They're essentially useless, but it keeps you legal (I think ...maybe) and fills the recess in nicely. I never assume any multitasking cager will pay notice to a tiny blinking light anyways.

 

the smoke lenses look great! I'm down for those... So, do i have to take the upper cowl off to install, or is everything accessible when it's attached to the bike? I guess i haven't thought it that far through. Seeing your pic made me wonder. Probably a stupid question and i'll check my bike when i get home tonight.
