Yea thats nice thats its always perfect to ride out... but regarding the traffic.. i thought its legal to lane split or go between the cars in cali? idk i thought i heard that some where.... its def illegal here but w.e tho
the weather is always nice.. but have you ever seen snow? or snow board? or anything... thats the only problem... summer is always nice i guess but fall is also a great season. and idk if you ever seen snow or snow board or anything but thats also fun too... i know northern cali has some of the best ski resorts...
dont get me wrong i probably would like living in cali alot more then CT, even though i would miss actually having the four seasons...

in AZ, you can get a free parking pass at any community college that works for all of them (5 or so different colleges). never been hassled about not having my sticker one my bike, however i have been warned multiple times for my other cars. some colleges have bike parking, some have striped sections, and some have none. get a xena disc brake lock/alarm if youre really worried about people messing with your bike.

At FIU we get one "free" parking pass (as in, it's included in tuition:P)... but I've been parking my bike without one since I got it.. I love riding to school, I live about 3 minutes from campus, and I never need to look for parking, so I can leave me house at 8:20 to get to my 8:30 class

Damn, that's cool Fallen3. We get 27$ tickets for not having stickers on bikes (( The whole system is just retarded in my opinion.
to Konamtbdjc:
Yeah, it is legal to split the lanes in Cali. It's awesome when an officer is riding right in front of you splitting the lanes, feels like a personal escort.
I actually referred to "traffic" as an amount of cars everywhere, not only roads. And the roads are usually huge parking lots anyways.
Regarding snow. I lived beyond the arctic circle for 13 years, I know what show and skiing are ))) Missed season change for quite a bit, especially autumn. Although I know I'd get sick of it in a week.
Snowboarding is fun indeed. Same "steering" principals as for the bikes. You go where ever you are looking at

thats cool about riding behind an officer and feeling like its a personal escort...
and i was jw about the snow thing because i know some people who live in cali and florida and places like that, never have seen snow, and i just cant imagine that... i have family in cali and i dont think my cuz has seen snow until he came to the east coast or something im not sure
im actually at school right now i should have rode today, its about 60 degrees out right now, saw a few bikes on my commute.
every time i see a biker when i decided not to ride i always regret it...

I generally park in a parking lot behind a house where there are a lot of people going in and out...doesnt make me feel safe enough though...Im always so relieved to see her sitting right where I left her. Theres not a chance in hell id leave her out in the open with it being dark out unless i could see it or had one of those niffty $400 scorpio alarms like the i900 which might be in my near future. Who knows, i would probably die if someone took my bike or vandalized it...or they would. A Parking pass for a bike is the dumbest thing ive ever heard. We dont take up any space at all really, just another way for THE MAN to make a buck. I see a lot of people park their bikes between cars at meters lol that might work?!

I wish I could park in between cars. The space is so limited, it's crazy... If I leave my bike in between cars, then everything would be dented.
OMG, parking in metered stall will result in a double citation. It's insane how crazy it gets. Hate it. Some schools require 90$ to be paid twice in the same semester. Soooo I'm happy I have to pay just 30$.
Got my new sticker (whoooohooo!), I'll prolly use some super glue to insure my trouble less semester.
Speaking of difference in life between the coasts. I've always lived in a city environment. Live here is great from the weather point of view, but over all, it's super lonely out here. Everything is spread apart by miles and miles of traffic. I wanna visit NY really badly.
