Default clutch cover

Does anyone know how hot the clutch cover gets? I'm thinking about painting mine, and trying to decide if I can use normal paint, or if I need to have it ceramic coated, or use the 500 degree paint. Thanks!

It depends how durable you want it to be. If you can deal with just using black engine block paint use that. Cheap and thats what they design it for. It is not designed to put up with the elements, or with having boots and rocks rubon it and nick it.Repainting may be necessary down the line. Top side wouldit is cheap, spend the money that you would pay for a ceramic or powdercoat and put it into gear or acessories for the bike.

doesnt cost much more then spray paint at walmart..why even try if your not sure??

i think it would be your best bet to go with some engine spray paint.
