Why will my clutch cover not go on!!!!!

Default Why will my clutch cover not go on!!!!!

Someone please tell me what the **** I am doing wrong???????? I have tried for the last ****ing 2 hours to give the damn thing on and it wont go. I can get it flush but then the clutch cable arm wont turn to be moved to where the clutch cable will hook up to it. PLEASE SOMEONE HELP!!!!

Did u try putting it on and then putting on the cable? Take some pics to show us whats not lining up.

Install the right crankcase cover while turning the lifter arm clockwise to engage the lifter arm groove with the lifter piece flange.
...is what the manual says. So the little arm that the cable attaches to needs to be turned clockwise. Some other fella around here broke his cover while attempting to re-install it.

Yeah I broke the clutch lifter already and now I am trying to put it back on since i replaced the clutch lifter.
