Parked it..just started riding again after a few months....strange clicking noise, with bike off and just spinning the rear tire it sounds nice something clicking at the front sprocket...i cant see anything wrong with the cover off...?? Rides and feels fine...?? could the chain just be dry?

 

there is some clicking at the chain and sprockest...there always will be...just make sure to lube area well and check the alignment.

 

ah ok thanks. its just never been this loud before. I'm taking a3000(there and back)mile road trip so im just checking everything out.

 

That happened to mine and I keep the chain very wet. And then all of the sudden it went away. I just cleaned the front sprocket area and monitored the performance. All is well so far.
